Since 2021, the West Virginia Department of Education has hosted the Culineering Challenge, a competition inspired by the Netflix series Baking Impossible. In this challenge, students work together to create designs that are not only fully functional but also completely edible.
This year’s project challenged teams to build a working miniature golf course made primarily from cake. Each team included two engineers, two bakers, one builder, and one media manager responsible for documenting the entire process.
Haylee Remy represented Fayette Institute of Technology alongside teammates Aidan Poole, Shelby Pauley, Lilian Rice, Leta Lively, and Dana Cottle as they competed in this creative and challenging event.
