Every year, Media students complete an internship to gain real-world experience in the field. This year, students Haylee Remy and Eve Sparks are interning at Water Stone Outdoors, where they’ve had the opportunity to work on various creative projects while also building their professional portfolios.

Haylee and Eve collaborated to improve the Water Stone Outdoors website, improving accessibility and creating a more user-friendly experience. Below are the updates they implemented:
Added a green progress bar that fills as users scroll through the site.
Designed and added an “Explore Our Blog” section near the bottom of the homepage to encourage blog engagement.
Completely redesigned the menu page for improved readability and updated it with the current food offerings.
Integrated features that allow users to like, share, and comment on blog posts.
Added hover effects and pop-out animations to clickable images that link to external websites.
